Eugene Mathews is the Managing Director of Cisco Systems Global Business Transformation Architecture Group within Advanced Collaboration Technologies, which is dedicated to the advancement of Emerging Customer Collaboration and Social Network solutions as the prime way to further the success of Cisco’s largest franchise customers. In the role, he is further accountable for Worldwide Sales of Cisco’s Customer Interaction Solutions portfolio and is an active member of the CIS Board responsible for incubation and introducing next-generation technologies.
Eugene has 30 years of experience in the software and communications industry, combining strong technical skills with extensive business experience in Financial Services, Retail, Service Provider and High Tech industries. He has held leadership positions in Sales, Technical Marketing and Solution Development at Rockwell, and AT&T where he developed the strategy that uniquely differentiated AT&T customer care solutions, leading to the #1 global and market leadership position.
Eugene has created new innovations, has authored and holds 41 key patents related to consumer experience and technology convergence platforms that have been fundamental to industry progress. As an innovator, he was recognized for significant sales and commercially successful patents and was named as one of AT&T’s “Top Innovators” by the head of Bell Laboratories, Dan Stanzione.
Eugene is based in Miami and resides in Marco Island, Florida with his wife and son.
